The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Table
Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences growing in power within the city.
Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.
The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the main group to embark on their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.
This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
Hence, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
First, the party understands precisely where to go next after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.
Casimir then cleared his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:
- Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
- Kattigan knows Timmony and warns that it is a hostile place.
- The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
- However, their status as important members in the powerful family could enable the party enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Moreover, The grateful character swore a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:
- The rogue and The character are known criminals.
- Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.
This means them no alternative but to head to the northern region in quest for Casimir.
Future Episodes
Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the combat party won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Planners groups.
